AndrèSimon Palais Royal is a unisex floral, oriental and chypre scent that opens with bergamot, petitgrain and neroli. The opening of bergamot, petitgrain and neroli is fresh and bright. The heart of everlasting flower, mimosa absolute, iris, tuberose and cardamom builds a floral, powdery texture. In the base, benzoin, vanilla absolute, patchouli, Peru balsam and labdanum absolute sweeten and warm it, softening the chypre frame with an oriental glow. Longevity is rated strong and sillage good. Voters also rate its value for money highly, though the number of votes is small, so this is only a rough guide. It reads comfortably on both men and women as a unisex scent. AndrèSimon Nuage Vert is a unisex fougère that opens with ginger, artemisia and eucalyptus and settles into a green heart of geranium and galbanum. Ginger and eucalyptus give a fresh, lightly spiced start, with artemisia adding a bitter, herbal edge. In the heart, Bourbon geranium, Roman chamomile, hyacinth and galbanum carry the green character, while maté absolute keeps it dry and leafy. The base rests on Uruguayan vetiver, oakmoss and labdanum, an earthy, woody floor, with fenugreek and Scots pine adding a resinous weight. The overall impression is green and woody, in the classic fougère mould.
