Tabacco Imperiale

E. Marinella · 2015

Sweet · Gourmand · Spicy

E. Marinella Tabacco Imperiale is an oriental fragrance for men, its sweet, gourmand side balanced by spice, smoke and wood. Its longevity and sillage are rated good, though those ratings rest on only a few votes. It sits on the masculine side, with no clear lean toward a particular season or occasion. It opens with spices, tobacco and rum. In the heart, tonka bean, cocoa and vanilla sweeten it, while ylang-ylang adds a softer warmth. Woody notes and amber in the base keep the smoky character going through the dry-down. Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille (Eau de Parfum) and Serge Lutens Écrin de fumée have a close profile.

Malìa

6.1

E. Marinella · 2015

Citrus · Floral · Green

E. Marinella Malìa is a floral, powdery women's fragrance that opens with a green, citrusy freshness and carries a creamy, sweet warmth at its core. It opens with vervain, ylang-ylang, jasmine and geranium, giving a citrusy, green and floral start. In the heart, white blossoms, cedarwood, vanilla and patchouli turn it woody, spicy and creamy. The base of moss, vetiver, Peru balsam and white musk softens everything and closes with a calm, powdery finish. Longevity and sillage are rated moderate, though the number of ratings is small, so this is only a rough guide. It is a feminine scent. Taylor of London Lace and Profumi di Pantelleria Joyann have a close profile.
