Ellen Dahlgren The Ruler is a unisex citrus and green scent that sets the brightness of rhubarb, lemon and orange against a sweet, resinous base of vanilla and benzoin.
It opens with the sharp, fruity-green freshness of rhubarb, lemon, orange and grass. In the heart, cedar, myrrh, cashmere, tonka bean and rose soften that brightness and push the scent towards woody and spicy. The base of musk, patchouli, benzoin and vanilla leaves a sweet, resinous, slightly earthy warmth. A synthetic sheen runs through the whole impression.
