Zinnia

Floris · 1990

Fresh · Floral · Green

Floris Zinnia is a fresh, floral and green women's fragrance built around ylang-ylang, violet and galbanum. It has been discontinued. It opens with ylang-ylang, violet and galbanum, giving a green, fresh floral impression. The heart of orris root, lily of the valley and rose turns it powdery and soft. In the base, musk, vanilla and sandalwood sweeten it and close on a woody warmth, while the spicy accord stays in the background. Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Lavande Velours and Korres Iris | Lily of the Valley | Cotton have a close profile.

Floris Patchouli is a unisex scent built around patchouli, rose and iris, settling through frankincense, labdanum and vanilla into a warm, resinous sweetness. Its sillage is rated good, though that rests on only a small number of votes. There are no votes on longevity, seasons or occasions. As a unisex scent, it sits comfortably on both men and women. It opens with violet leaf and coconut milk, light and milky. The heart brings rose, ylang-ylang, iris, patchouli and cedarwood together, floral and woody at once. The base of frankincense, labdanum, amber, vanilla and myrrh turns sweet, earthy and smoky. Yves Rocher 8ᵉ Jour and Il Profvmo Patchouli Noir share a close profile.
