RobinHoOUD

GRG · 2025

Citrus · Floral · Fruity

GRG RobinHoOUD is a unisex fragrance that sets citrus and floral brightness against a sweet, spicy and woody base. Blood orange, mandarin and pink grapefruit sparkle first, while damask rose, osmanthus and red frangipani soften that freshness into something floral and fruity. Cognac and tobacco absolute deepen the sweetness, and Thai oud and Indonesian sandalwood bring out the woody side. Longevity is rated strong and sillage good, though only a few people have voted, so these ratings are tentative. It reads neither masculine nor feminine, and its sweet, spicy build suits cooler days best. Rancé 1795 Secrète Euphorie and Solstice Scents Gin Flower have a close profile.

Laos Gardenia

7.5

GRG · 2025

Floral · Animal · Powdery

GRG Laos Gardenia is a powdery, creamy floral with an animal edge, made as a unisex perfume. Longevity and sillage are both rated well, and most voters give each a high score, though the number of votes is small, so take it as a first impression. There is no season or occasion vote to lean on. The perfume is unisex and could sit comfortably on either a man or a woman. Gardenia absolute and jasmine form the floral heart, and champaca adds a creamy softness. Beneath them sit oakmoss, Bourbon vetiver, Laotian oud, Thai oud and Mysore sandalwood. Ambergris and hyraceum bring out the animal side. Florals and powder outweigh everything else, set on a woody base.

PorcinOud

8.9

GRG · 2025

Floral · Sweet · Spicy

GRG PorcinOud is a unisex scent that is woody, earthy and smoky, with sweet and spicy edges and a floral touch. Its longevity is rated very strong and its sillage strong, so it is a perfume that announces itself and stays on skin for hours. It suits both men and women, and its dense character fits cooler weather and evenings best. The notes read as one whole: Italian cep absolute and Virginia tobacco absolute lay an earthy, smoky base. Liquorice and rum add sweetness, while pepper and orange bring spice and a little brightness. Chinese oud, sandalwood, frankincense and patchouli round out the woody, resinous depth, and Azerbaijani damask rose otto adds a soft floral note.

Mr. Merauke Il Selvaggio

9.1

GRG · 2025

Floral · Sweet · Woody

GRG Mr. Merauke Il Selvaggio is a woody, smoky unisex fragrance built around Papua oud, sandalwood and Japanese woods. Oud and sandalwood form the backbone, while Sumatran patchouli and frankincense push that woody base towards a smoky, resinous side. Deer musk, civet and ambergris add an animal warmth, and violet and boronia bring a soft floral touch that sweetens the rougher edges. Longevity is rated very strong and sillage strong, so a light hand is enough. The number of votes is small, so these ratings are an indication rather than a verdict. It suits anyone who wants a dense, characterful scent that doesn't lean masculine or feminine. Strangers Parfumerie Ember and Just Jack The Dark have a close profile.

The King of the Oceans

7.7

GRG

Fresh · Aquatic · Green

GRG The King of the Oceans is a unisex scent that sets a fresh, aquatic side against a woody, animal and resinous base. Longevity and sillage are both rated strong, though the number of votes is small, so the rating is best read with caution. It is unisex in character, and no clear lean towards a particular season or occasion shows. As a whole, kelp and rosemary bring freshness, while Papua oud, cedarwood, vetiver and Mysore sandalwood give it a woody depth. Patchouli and elemi resin add an earthy, resinous tone, and civet, castoreum and white ambergris lend an animal, salty warmth. Green and earthy accords round out its mossy, raw feel.
