Betrothal (2011) (Eau de Parfum)

Grossmith · 2011

Fresh · Citrus · Floral

Grossmith Betrothal (2011) is a women's fragrance that links a fresh neroli and bergamot opening to a floral heart of May rose, Grasse jasmine and ylang-ylang. The top notes of neroli and bergamot give a citrus, slightly green freshness. In the heart, May rose, jasmine and ylang-ylang lead. In the base, vanilla softens the scent, vetiver, cedarwood and sandalwood lay a woody floor, and musk and patchouli leave a powdery, lightly spicy trail. Longevity is rated good and sillage moderate, so it stays close rather than filling a room. Most voters pick spring, followed by summer. Leisure, evening and night-out wear are chosen about equally. Most voters read it as feminine. Celine Parade and Roja Parfums Goodman's have a close profile.
