Hiroko Koshino opens with blackcurrant and green tea and brings rose, jasmine and patchouli together in a scent made for women; it has been discontinued. The top notes, blackcurrant and green tea, make the opening fresh and fruity. In the heart, freesia, rose, lotus and jasmine build a floral core, and the sweetness comes forward at this stage. The base of patchouli, frankincense, oud and sandalwood pulls the scent towards woody, resinous and slightly smoky ground, where the spicy, oriental side takes over. The fruit and floral brightness softens into wood and resin. Amouage Homage and Byredo Reine de Nuit have a close profile.
