Jasmin de Toscane

Jacques Fath · 2023

Fresh · Floral · Green

Jacques Fath Jasmin de Toscane is a unisex floral built on jasmine sambac, opening with the fresh, green brightness of grapefruit and petitgrain. Most voters pick spring and summer, and it leans towards leisure and daily wear, with some votes for evenings and nights out. Longevity and sillage are both rated good, though from few votes. It sits between masculine and feminine. The top has Tunisian petitgrain, freesia and grapefruit, fresh and fruity. Three kinds of jasmine sambac form the heart, where the flower is joined by green tones and a creamy softness. In the base, hazelnut and benzoin sweeten it, and Sinfonide® adds a synthetic gloss. Maison Margiela Flower Market and Jean Paul Gaultier La Favorite have a close profile.

Les Folies de Fath

6.7

Jacques Fath · 2013

Fresh · Floral · Fruity

Jacques Fath Les Folies de Fath is a fresh fruity-floral perfume for women, softened by powder and a smoky wood base; it has been discontinued. It opens with blackcurrant, pear and lychee, a juicy fruitiness that bergamot and pink pepper keep bright and lightly spiced. The heart centres on orange blossom and rose, with orris root adding a powdery softness. The base settles into sandalwood, patchouli and frankincense, a woody, faintly smoky floor sweetened by musk and vanilla. Longevity and sillage are moderate. Most voters pick spring and summer, and daily, leisure and business wear are favoured about equally, while evening use comes a distant second.

Musc Couture

7.7

Jacques Fath · 2025

Fresh · Floral · Fruity

Jacques Fath Musc Couture is a unisex scent that pairs a fresh, fruity opening of red banana, cherry and bergamot with a powdery musk base. Its longevity and sillage are rated as good, though the small number of votes means that reading is tentative. With its fresh, sweet character it suits easy daytime wear and doesn't lean masculine or feminine. The top is red banana, cherry and bergamot, while orris concrete and linen in the heart add a clean, powdery touch. In the base, musk, vanilla and raspberry sweeten the scent, and ambrette seed, vetiver and Healingwood® keep it grounded in a soft woody footing.

La Femme de Fath

6.8

Fresh · Floral · Fruity

Jacques Fath La Femme de Fath is a women's fragrance that pairs the fresh opening of pink pepper, orange and bergamot with a floral heart of jasmine, rose and peach; it has been discontinued. Its longevity and sillage are moderate. Voters place it equally in daytime, leisure and business wear, with evening and night-out use trailing behind. It opens with citrus and the spicy freshness of pink pepper. In the heart, jasmine and rose are softened by the fruity sweetness of peach, and the base of moss, patchouli and vetiver dries down on a powdery footing. The overall feel is floral, fruity and sweet, with a slightly synthetic edge.

L'Eau Technique

5.3

Jacques Fath · 2013

Fresh · Citrus · Aquatic

Jacques Fath L'Eau Technique is a fresh men's fragrance that opens with lemon and seawater, led by citrus, aquatic and green accords; it has been discontinued. The top notes are lemon, fruity notes and seawater; in the heart, lavender, sage and pepper add a spicy edge to that freshness. The base of amber, musk, sandalwood, patchouli and cedar sets it on a woody, lightly sweet footing. Its longevity and sillage are rated moderate. Most voters pick spring, summer and fall, while winter stays in the background. It leans towards daily wear, leisure and the office. Jesus del Pozo Quasar and Montblanc Starwalker have a close profile.

Monsieur de Fath

7.5

Jacques Fath · 2012

Fresh · Citrus · Fruity

Jacques Fath Monsieur de Fath is a men's fragrance that softens bright citrus with spice and a sweet, woody base, and it leans towards easy daily wear; it has been discontinued. Its longevity is rated moderate and its sillage weak, so it stays close to the skin rather than filling a room. Most voters pick it for daytime, office and leisure wear, with night out and evening trailing behind. It reads masculine. It opens on tangerine, lemon and pink pepper, then cedarwood, vetiver and ginger give it a dry, spicy backbone. Vanilla, sandalwood and tonka bean bring sweetness and softness to the base. The fresh, citrusy and fruity feel is balanced by that woody ground. Creed Aventus Cologne and Yves Saint Laurent L'Homme (Eau de Toilette) have a close profile.

Yin

7.4

Jacques Fath · 1999

Fresh · Floral · Fruity

Jacques Fath Yin is a fresh, floral and fruity women's fragrance led by freesia, iris and rose; it has been discontinued. It opens with freesia, iris, rose and peony in a floral start. In the heart, melon and peach bring a fruity softness, violet leaf and blackcurrant add a light green edge, and cinnamon stays in the background. The base of vanilla, sandalwood and white musk sweetens the scent and moves it towards a powdery warmth. The overall impression is fresh and sweet, with the florals in front. Yoppy Flower Glam and Judith Williams Irresistible Iris have a close profile.
