Lana & Hadi Parfums Oud al Sayf is a green, spicy and smoky unisex scent built on vetiver, patchouli and oud.
It opens with frankincense, pink pepper, wild vetiver and cumin, while Japanese yuzu and apple lighten that dry, sharp mix a little. In the heart, sandalwood, saffron and labdanum add a woody warmth. In the base, leather, birch tar and oud leave an earthy, smoky finish as it dries.
Longevity is rated strong and sillage good, though the number of ratings is small, so treat that as a rough guide. It sits comfortably between masculine and feminine. Lalique Encre Noire à L'Extrême and Chanel Sycomore (2008) (Eau de Toilette) have a close profile.
