Ubuntu

Lujos · 2025

Sweet · Gourmand · Spicy

Lujos Ubuntu is a unisex fragrance built around Papua oud, Kashmiri saffron and honey, with a sweet, spicy and woody character. Oud and sandalwood form a woody frame, while honey, cocoa and vanilla soften it with a gourmand sweetness. Saffron adds spice, civet and deer musk bring an animal, creamy warmth, and ambergris lends a resinous depth. Voters rate its longevity as very strong and its sillage as strong, though the number of votes is small, so these figures are tentative. Its dense build suits cooler weather. It has a close profile to Devoti Peccatori and Vanilla CO₂ & Oud.

Chivalry

9.2

Lujos

Lujos Chivalry is a unisex fragrance built around Kashmiri saffron, leather and honey, deepened by oud and sandalwood; it has been discontinued. Saffron, leather and honey give the scent a warm, sweet and slightly spicy backbone. Citron and neroli lighten that weight, while Cambodian pepper adds a faint sharpness. Sri Lankan oud, oud and Ceylonese sandalwood bring a woody depth, softened by white ambergris, silk and lavender. Queen-of-the-night, wild flowers and boronia add a floral touch. Emirates Pride Scentastic No.3 and Boucheron Oud de Carthage have a close profile.

Madurez

9.3

Lujos

Floral · Woody · Oriental

Lujos Madurez is a dense, heavy unisex fragrance built on floral, woody, oriental and resinous accords. Several roses, blue lotus, night-blooming jasmine and gardenia carry the floral side. Against them, oud from many origins, Mysore sandalwood, leather and Cuban tobacco form a woody, oriental frame. Saffron, myrrh and Somalian frankincense add a resinous warmth, while ambergris, musk and civet settle it onto an animalic, soft base, and orris root lends a powdery touch. The notes aren't split into layers, so it reads as one whole from start to finish.
