Gocce di Napoleon by Napoleon is a fresh, chypre-leaning women's scent that moves from a bright opening of bergamot, orange and lemon through rose, jasmine and lavender to a base of patchouli and oakmoss.
The top is citrusy and lightly fruity, with bergamot, orange, mandarin orange, lemon and peach, dried slightly by clary sage. In the heart, blackcurrant, basil and pepper add a spicy edge while rose and jasmine carry the floral side. The base of patchouli, labdanum, frankincense, myrrh and oakmoss leaves a resinous, chypre depth.
Longevity is moderate and sillage weak, so it stays fairly close to the skin; the ratings come from few votes and should be read loosely. Roja Parfums Bergamot and Dior Diorella (Eau de Toilette) have a close profile.
