Oros Pure Leather Gold is a unisex scent built on rose, saffron and raspberry up top and oud and frankincense below, with a smoky, spicy and woody character.
It opens with rose, saffron and raspberry, which give a floral and fruity sweetness over a spicy warmth. In the heart, birch and geranium add an earthy, smoky edge. The base of frankincense, oud, benzoin and amber settles into an oriental, woody footing, with an animalic accord running through the darker side.
Voters rate both longevity and sillage as very strong, so a light hand may be enough. The character is balanced enough to be read as masculine or feminine alike. Flavia Nouveau Ambre and Abaco Shadow have a close profile.
