Robert Piguet Bandit (1999) is a green, smoky chypre built around leather, tuberose and oakmoss, made for women and now discontinued.
The top opens fresh and green with orange, neroli, galbanum and ylang-ylang. In the heart, leather, tuberose, jasmine and rose set a floral side against a leathery edge. The base of vetiver, patchouli, musk and oakmoss dries down earthy and woody.
Voters rate both longevity and sillage as good, with more voters calling the longevity high, though the sample is small. It is labelled feminine, but the smoky, leathery structure suits anyone who wants a firm, defined chypre. Robert Piguet Bandit (2012) and Grès Cabochard (2019) have a close profile.
