Etat Libre d'Orange · 2011

Fresh · Floral · Fruity

Etat Libre d'Orange Archives 69 is a scent for women that pairs a fresh, fruity opening with a sweet, resinous and lightly smoky texture. It opens with mandarin orange, pepper leaf and pink pepper, bright and spicy at first. In the heart, prune, vanilla orchid and frankincense take over, and the fruity sweetness softens into a resinous warmth. The base of musk, patchouli and camphor settles woody and powdery, with the synthetic and smoky touches staying in the background. Longevity and sillage are moderate. Most voters recommend fall and spring, and leisure and evening wear lead the occasions. Voters mostly read its character as feminine, though some find it masculine.

Floris · 2020

Fresh · Floral · Green

Floris Tuberose In Silk is a fresh, powdery floral for women that leans towards leisure and daytime wear. Its longevity is rated good and its sillage moderate, so it stays close rather than filling a room. Voters pick it most for leisure, daily wear and business, with evening use well behind. It opens with orange blossom, camphor and iris, and in the heart Indian tuberose absolute joins jasmine and pink pepper. Benzoin, amber and musk soften the base into a creamy, lightly sweet finish. Fresh and green touches keep the flowers from feeling heavy.

Les Lunatiques

6.2

Lvnea · 2019

Floral · Sweet · Spicy

Lvnea Les Lunatiques is a floral, spicy and resinous women's fragrance that opens with camphor, vermouth and black pepper before jasmine and myrrh soften it. The top notes bring camphor, vermouth, black pepper and opoponax, a cool, sharp and lightly spiced first impression. Jasmine adds a soft floral heart. The base of myrrh, sandalwood, ambrette, orris butter and copal resin settles it onto a woody, powdery and creamy ground, with sweet, animal, earthy and smoky shades staying in the background. After the camphor and pepper, it ends warm and resinous. Lush Sappho and Francesca Bianchi Angel's Dust have a close profile.
