Pikovaya Dama

Xerjoff · 2014

Fresh · Citrus · Floral

Xerjoff Pikovaya Dama is a women's perfume that opens with neroli, Bulgarian rose and Sicilian lemon and settles into a sweet, woody base, suited to evenings and cooler seasons. It starts with neroli, Bulgarian rose, Sicilian lemon and Calabrian bergamot, a fresh, citrusy floral opening. In the heart, nutmeg, coriander, Turkish iris, Omani frankincense and Atlas cedar bring spice and wood. The base of musk, Ceylonese sandalwood, Bourbon vanilla and patchouli leaves a creamy, sweet, powdery ground. Longevity is rated very strong and sillage strong. Voters lean towards fall and spring, with winter ahead of summer, and evening and night out are the favored occasions. Most voters read it as feminine and classic. Xerjoff Ibitira and The Dua Brand Queen of Spades have a close profile.

Oud Al Melka

8.4

Royal Crown · 2015

Floral · Sweet · Spicy

Royal Crown Oud Al Melka is a floral, spicy oud scent with a sweet, resinous and smoky side that gives it a dark, dense character. Longevity and sillage are both rated strong. Most voters pick winter and autumn, and it is worn mostly in the evening or on nights out. It is sold as a women's perfume, yet votes split almost evenly between feminine and masculine. It opens with juniper, cardamom, saffron and sage, a cool spicy start. The heart builds a floral body from Bulgarian rose, Moroccan rose, jasmine sambac and ylang-ylang. In the base, Laotian oud, labdanum, tonka bean and ambergris leave a sweet, resinous, slightly smoky trail. Royal Crown Oud Jasmin and Masque III-IV Tango have a close profile.
