Un Matin au Jardin - Rose Fraîche / Fresh Rose

Yves Rocher · 2012

Fresh · Citrus · Floral

Yves Rocher Un Matin au Jardin - Rose Fraîche / Fresh Rose is a fresh, floral women's scent that suits spring and summer days; it has been discontinued. Both its longevity and sillage are rated weak, so it stays close to the skin as a light scent. Most voters pick spring and summer, and daily wear, leisure and work are the occasions named most often. It reads clearly feminine. Mandarin orange, grapefruit and bergamot give it a bright citrus opening. The heart holds rose and fruity notes, with a green, lightly sweet feel. In the base, Tonkin musk and woody notes close it with a soft, powdery finish. Floraïku Just A Rose and Tocca Bianca (Eau de Parfum) have a close profile.

8.4

Royal Crown · 2015

Floral · Sweet · Spicy

Royal Crown Oud Al Melka is a floral, spicy oud scent with a sweet, resinous and smoky side that gives it a dark, dense character. Longevity and sillage are both rated strong. Most voters pick winter and autumn, and it is worn mostly in the evening or on nights out. It is sold as a women's perfume, yet votes split almost evenly between feminine and masculine. It opens with juniper, cardamom, saffron and sage, a cool spicy start. The heart builds a floral body from Bulgarian rose, Moroccan rose, jasmine sambac and ylang-ylang. In the base, Laotian oud, labdanum, tonka bean and ambergris leave a sweet, resinous, slightly smoky trail. Royal Crown Oud Jasmin and Masque III-IV Tango have a close profile.

Pétales

7.4

Euphorium Brooklyn · 2015

Citrus · Floral · Green

Inis Arose

6.9

Fragrances of Ireland · 2002

Fresh · Citrus · Floral

Fragrances of Ireland Inis Arose is a fresh, citrusy rose, framed by floral, green and woody tones, and it suits women who want a light daytime scent. Inis Arose has been discontinued. Its longevity is moderate and its sillage weak, so it stays close to the skin rather than filling a room. Most voters pick spring and summer, and daily wear, leisure and business are the occasions named most often. Most voters read it as feminine. It opens with Sicilian lemon, bergamot, pink geranium and lily of the valley, a bright and slightly green start. White rose, Turkish rose and May rose carry the heart. The base of Mysore sandalwood, Atlas cedar, Bourbon vanilla and Tonkin musk settles it into a soft, woody finish.

Poppy Soma

7.7

Parfums Quartana · 2016

Floral · Sweet · Spicy

Parfums Quartana Poppy Soma is a floral, sweet perfume for women, with spice, resin and smoke laid over the flowers. Jasmine sambac, tuberose, black gardenia and red rose form the floral core, while red pepper, Sichuan pepper and curry leaf add a spicy edge. Church frankincense, labdanum and styrax pull the sweetness toward a resinous, smoky base, and Tonkin musk softens the whole. Longevity is rated strong and sillage good, though the number of votes is small, so these ratings are a tendency rather than a verdict. Its heavy, spiced floral build suits evenings and cooler weather. Buchoed Rosa Nigra and Nōse Day Off have a close profile.
