Himalaya

Creed · 2002

Fresh · Citrus · Aquatic

Creed Himalaya pairs lemon, bergamot and mandarin orange with juniper berry, lavender and pepper, giving a fresh, citrusy, woody men's scent that suits spring and summer days. It wears at a moderate strength, with moderate longevity and sillage. Most voters pick spring and summer, while few choose winter. Daily wear, business and leisure lead the occasions, and the character reads clearly masculine. It opens with a fresh citrus lift from lemon, bergamot and mandarin orange. In the heart, juniper berry, lavender, pepper, nutmeg and gun powder add a spicy, green edge, softened by jasmine. The base of sandalwood, cedarwood, vetiver and tonka bean is woody with a light sweetness. Parfums de Marly Sedley and Floris Cefiro have a close profile.

Tonnerre / 1805

6.5

Beaufort · 2015

Citrus · Spicy · Woody

Beaufort Tonnerre / 1805 is a smoky, citrus-led and clearly masculine scent that leans towards autumn and winter days. Lemon, lime and bergamot draw a fresh citrus frame, while smoke, gun powder and brandy add a rough, spicy edge. Fir balsam, birch and black amber build a woody, resinous base, and the animal and earthy accords darken the whole. Its longevity and sillage are both rated strong. Most voters pick autumn and winter, with leisure and evening wear coming first, and most of them read it as masculine. Profumo di Firenze Cuoio and Tauer Perfumes L'Air du Désert Marocain Noir have a close profile.

Francesco Smalto · 2004

Floral · Fruity · Sweet

Eau de Toilette

Francesco Smalto FullChoke Eau de Toilette is a masculine scent that opens floral and fruity and settles into sweet, woody warmth, suiting autumn and spring days and casual wear; it has been discontinued. The top holds Vietnamese white pepper, Sri Lankan cardamom and pineapple, with gun powder and honeydew melon adding a spicy, fruity edge. In the heart, jasmine, rose and lily of the valley bring a soft, powdery floral note. The base leans on leather, vanilla, Java vetiver and Jamaican rum, leaving a sweet, smoky, earthy oriental trail. Longevity and sillage are rated moderate. Most voters pick autumn and spring, while winter and summer trail behind. Leisure and daily wear lead the occasions, with business and evening getting fewer votes. Karl Lagerfeld Sun Moon Stars and Laura Biagiotti Roma have a close profile.

Kraꓘen

8.1

Spiritwoods

Spicy · Woody · Resinous

Spiritwoods Kraꓘen is a spicy, woody and smoky men's fragrance, with leathery and earthy depth. It opens with gun powder, rum and saffron; the heart brings oak barrel, spices and vanilla, the vanilla softening the edges. The base settles into patchouli, leather and tobacco, leaving a dark, resinous, earthy finish. Longevity is rated good and sillage moderate. It reads masculine. Cartier XIII: La Treizième Heure and Beaufort Cœur de Noir have a close profile.

The Highwayman

6.3

Alkemia

Fresh · Green · Sweet

Alkemia The Highwayman is a fresh, green men's fragrance that sets leathery, earthy and spicy sides against a sweet streak. Its sillage is rated moderate, so it neither fills a room nor disappears on skin. It is classed as a masculine scent. Oakmoss, leather, soil and linen sit together. Campfire and gun powder add a dry, rough edge, while the air accord keeps it open. The sweet accord softens that roughness a little.

Ghost Town Barber (Eau de Parfum)

6.6

Chiseled Face

Fresh · Green · Sweet

Eau de Parfum

Chiseled Face Ghost Town Barber Eau de Parfum is a woody, smoky men's scent built around oakmoss, leather and basil. The notes read as a single whole rather than a top-to-base progression: oakmoss and leather form the core, while basil and bergamot add a green, fresh edge. Patchouli, Texas cedar, gun powder and smoke pull the leathery, spicy and powdery sides toward a smoky woodiness, with a sweet, slightly synthetic streak running through it. Its profile is close to Jo Malone Fir & Artemisia and Aramis Modern Leather.
