Sartorial

Penhaligon's · 2010

Fresh · Floral · Green

Penhaligon's Sartorial is a fresh, spicy men's fragrance that opens with black pepper, cardamom and violet leaf over a metallic, ozonic edge, then softens into leather, lavender and beeswax. The opening is peppery and bright: ginger and cardamom sit beside aldehydes and metallic notes. The heart turns green and powdery with lavender, leather and beeswax. The base adds sweetness through vanilla, honey and amber, while cedarwood, patchouli and oakmoss give it a woody, earthy floor. Voters rate its longevity as good and its sillage as moderate. Fall comes first, followed by spring and winter, and it leans towards business and daily wear. Most voters find it masculine, and many call it classic. Azzaro pour Homme and Mancera Deep Forest have a close profile.

Touche pour Homme

7.7

Rue Broca

Fruity · Sweet · Synthetic

Rue Broca Touche pour Homme is a sweet, spicy men's fragrance that suits evenings and nights out, especially in fall and winter. It has a fruity, gourmand character. It opens with linden blossom, mint, blackcurrant and citrus notes for a fresh fruity touch. Orange blossom, musk and oriental spices come forward in the heart, while vanilla, cinnamon and precious woods settle it onto a creamy, woody, sweet base. Longevity is rated strong and sillage good. Most voters pick fall and winter, then spring, with few votes for summer. Night out and evening wear lead, though it also works for daily use. It reads masculine. Its profile is close to Hugo Boss The Scent Magnetic for Him and Rabanne 1 Million Black.

J-Gris

8.1

Jinx · 2025

Fresh · Citrus · Floral

Jinx J-Gris is a men's fragrance led by fresh and citrus accords, resting on a floral, woody base, with an aquatic freshness softened by powdery, creamy warmth. Its longevity and sillage are both rated strong, with nearly all voters scoring them high, though the vote count is small, so these ratings are tentative. It is classed as a men's fragrance. It opens with green mandarin orange, neroli, lemon and cubeb for a bright, lightly spiced citrus. In the heart, May rose, iris and linden blossom bring a floral, powdery softness. In the base, ambergris, Indian oud, Mysore sandalwood and tonka bean close it with woody, creamy warmth. Perfumes with a close profile include Casamorati Mefisto Gentiluomo and Zara Acqua della Fontana.
