Scandal pour Homme Absolu

8.0

Jean Paul Gaultier · 2024

Fruity · Sweet · Synthetic

Jean Paul Gaultier Scandal pour Homme Absolu is a sweet, gourmand men's scent with a woody base, best suited to fall and winter evenings. Mandarin orange and bergamot give a fresh fruity start, softened by mirabelle plum. Caramel, chestnut and tonka bean pull the scent towards a creamy, sweet side, while sandalwood, cedar and vetiver add woody depth. The spicy and synthetic accords stay in the background. Voters find its longevity strong and its sillage good. Most pick fall and winter, and evenings or nights out; it is chosen far less for summer or the office. It reads as masculine and modern. Jean Paul Gaultier Scandal pour Homme and Ard Al Zaafaran Naqeeb have a close profile.

Asad Bourbon / أسد

7.7

Lattafa · 2024

Fresh · Fruity · Sweet

Lattafa Asad Bourbon / أسد is a men's fragrance that opens fresh and fruity, then settles into a sweet, spicy, creamy gourmand, and it suits autumn and winter evenings best. The top is lavender, mirabelle plum and pink pepper: a fresh, lightly fruity opening with a little bite. In the heart, nutmeg, davana and cocoa bring spice and sweetness, and in the base Bourbon vanilla, amber and vetiver dry down warm, creamy and oriental. Longevity and sillage are rated good. Most voters pick autumn and winter, with few choosing summer. Night outs and evenings lead, and leisure wear is common too. It mostly reads masculine and modern. Cuba Cuba Gold and Parfums de Marly Layton have a close profile.

King

8.3

Armaf · 2024

Fruity · Sweet · Synthetic

Armaf King is a fruity, sweet men's fragrance led by mirabelle plum and sandalwood. Its longevity and sillage are both rated strong, and most voters score them high. The number of votes is small, so this is a rough guide rather than a firm verdict. It reads as a masculine scent, and its sweet, gourmand build leaves a full, dense trail. It opens with mirabelle plum and fruity notes. In the heart, chestnut, gourmand and spicy notes soften it into a creamy sweetness. The base of sandalwood, amber, balsamic and powdery notes sets a woody, resinous ground. Cartier Pasha de Cartier Parfum and Dolce & Gabbana Velvet Honey Santal have a close profile.

Trussardi Uomo Levriero Collection Limited Edition

7.8

Trussardi · 2022

Fresh · Citrus · Floral

Trussardi Uomo Levriero Collection Limited Edition is a fresh, green men's fragrance that balances citrus against woody tones; it has been discontinued. It opens with clary sage, galbanum, violet leaf, lemon and cypress, a cool, green and crisp start. In the heart, mirabelle plum and geranium soften things while nutmeg adds spice. The base of gaiac wood, patchouli and amberwood settles into a woody, slightly leathery foundation. Its longevity is rated strong and its sillage good, though few people have voted, so these ratings are tentative. It reads masculine. Trussardi Uomo and Dunhill X-Centric have a close profile.
