Eau de Toilette

Calvin Klein Euphoria Men Intense Eau de Toilette opens with pepper and ginger over a base of vetiver, patchouli and oud, making it a spicy, woody scent for men; it has been discontinued. The opening is sharp and fresh, with pepper, ginger and sudachi. In the heart, cedar leaf, sage and black basil push it towards a green, dry feel. The base of vetiver, patchouli, labdanum, oud, myrrh and amber adds a sweet, oriental warmth, and the accords also bring out fruity and gourmand sides. Longevity and sillage are rated moderate. Most voters pick autumn, followed by winter and spring. It leans towards evenings and nights out, though daily wear also has its place. Most voters find it masculine. Calvin Klein Euphoria Men (Eau de Toilette) and Lattafa Ramz Lattafa (Silver) have a close profile.

Derring-Do

6.2

Ineke · 2006

Fresh · Citrus · Floral

Ineke Derring-Do is a fresh, citrusy and green fragrance for men, with a light floral and woody touch. It opens with a rain accord, citrus notes and cyclamen, giving a clean, just-rinsed impression. In the heart, fougère notes and magnolia come forward, while musk, cedarwood and gaiac wood settle into a soft, dry woodiness at the base. The overall feel is aquatic and green, with a slightly synthetic edge. Longevity is moderate and sillage weak, so it stays close to the skin. Most voters pick spring and summer, and it is worn mainly for leisure, daily use and the office. Most see it as masculine. Pitralon Pitralon Polar and Birkholz Pacific Drive have a close profile.

Ironman

6.2

Avon · 2009

Fresh · Citrus · Aquatic

Avon Ironman is a fresh, woody men's fragrance that opens with ginger, lime and violet and settles on vetiver and cedarwood. The opening is citrusy and bright, with ginger and lime softened by violet. In the heart, vetiver, nutmeg and a rain accord give it an aquatic, green character with a light spicy edge. The base of cedarwood, patchouli, woody notes and tree moss leaves a dry, earthy finish. Ironman is a masculine scent, and its longevity is rated moderate, though that rests on only a few votes. It has been discontinued. Issey Miyake Le Sel d'Issey and Lacoste L.12.12 Bleu have a close profile.
