Bvlgari Man Wood Essence (Eau de Parfum)

Bvlgari · 2018

Fresh · Citrus · Green

Eau de Parfum

Bvlgari Man Wood Essence Eau de Parfum opens with coriander and Italian citrus zest, then settles into cypress, gaiac wood and cedar: a fresh, green, woody fragrance for men. Its longevity and sillage are both rated moderate. Most voters pick spring and fall, with summer not far behind. Leisure, daily wear and the office get the most votes, and half of voters find it masculine. Coriander and citrus zest give the opening a bright, lightly spicy start. In the heart, cypress and gaiac wood bring a green, woody feel. Virginia cedar wood and Siam benzoin absolute sweeten and soften the base. Baldessarini Secret Mission and Parfums de Marly Percival have a close profile.

Sauvage Extrait

7.4

Dior · 2026

Fresh · Spicy · Woody

Dior Sauvage Extrait opens with Provençal lavender, Ambroxan and Calabrian bergamot, then turns darker around Vietnamese oud and patchouli: a distinctly masculine scent that suits cooler seasons and evenings best. Most voters pick winter and fall, and evening and night out are the occasions it is chosen for most. Its longevity and sillage are both rated very strong, and most see it as masculine and modern. It is rarely chosen for daytime or the office. The top notes of lavender, bergamot and Ambroxan give a fresh, clean start. Vietnamese oud in the heart adds a resinous, smoky weight. In the base, Indonesian patchouli, Virginia cedar wood, Atlas cedar and Madagascan vetiver build a woody, earthy foundation, with spicy and animal tones running through it. Acqua di Parma Colonia Oud and Frapin Nevermore have a close profile.

Most voters pick summer and spring, with leisure, daily wear and the office the most common settings. Longevity is rated good and sillage moderate. Most voters call its character masculine and modern. It opens with lemon, orange blossom and Bourbon geranium, and the heart centres on Diva lavender and the pink peppers. Virginia cedar wood, musk and Ambrox settle underneath. The fresh, floral and aquatic accords lead, while sweet and spicy touches stay in the background.

For Him Musc Santal

6.8

Narciso Rodriguez · 2026

Fresh · Green · Synthetic

Narciso Rodriguez For Him Musc Santal is a men's fragrance that pairs a fresh, green opening with a powdery, creamy woodiness, and it leans towards everyday wear. Longevity and sillage are both rated moderate, so the scent stays fairly close without pushing itself on a room. Most voters pick daily wear, followed by business and leisure; sport and night out are chosen less often. It opens with green cardamom, Italian bergamot, clary sage and juniper, a fresh and spicy start. The heart holds labdanum, Virginia cedar wood and musk, and the dry-down softens into sandalwood, benzoin and patchouli with a creamy, woody warmth.

Aquilo

7.7

Fresh · Citrus · Floral

Maison Alhambra Aquilo is a men's fragrance that pairs a fresh citrus and aquatic character with a green, lightly powdery side. It opens with a bright citrus burst of mandarin orange, orange and petitgrain. In the heart, cotton flower, lavender and seagrass turn that freshness floral and watery.
