Comptoir Sud Pacifique Sultan Safran is a spicy, woody and resinous fragrance for men, with earthy and leathery shades in an oriental, fougère-leaning style. It has been discontinued. It opens with green mandarin orange and bergamot, a fresh citrus start. The heart builds a floral base of jasmine, lily of the valley, rose and saffron blossom, warmed by nutmeg and cinnamon leaf. The base of cedar, sandalwood and patchouli adds a woody, earthy depth, and musk softens it.

In the heart, fudge, geranium and davana take over; the fudge pushes the scent towards the gourmand side while geranium adds a floral touch. The base of bourbon vanilla absolute, musk and tonka bean dries down soft and sweet. Fruity and synthetic tones also run through the accords.
