Gian Marco Venturi · 2001

Fresh · Citrus · Floral

Eau de Toilette

Gian Marco Venturi GMV Woman Eau de Toilette is a fresh, floral and aquatic women's fragrance that opens on bergamot, grapefruit and freesia. The opening is led by the citrus brightness of bergamot and grapefruit, with freesia adding a light floral edge. In the heart, gillyflower, hawthorn, iris and lotus carry the floral side, while the aquatic accord gives it a clean, water-washed feel. The base of musk and heliotrope softens everything into a gentle, sweet finish, touched by the fruity accord. The overall impression is light, fresh and floral.

Déjà Vu

7.9

Phuong Dang · 2017

Fresh · Floral · Aquatic

Phuong Dang Déjà Vu opens with peach, red berries and hyacinth, and reads as a fresh, floral unisex fragrance. Its longevity is rated strong and its sillage good, though the small number of votes makes this only a first impression. As a unisex scent it sits comfortably on both men and women, with a fresh, floral character. Fresh, floral and aquatic accords lead. Peach and red berries add a fruity brightness, while hyacinth brings a floral lift. The heart joins ozonic and marine notes with magnolia, mimosa absolute and ylang-ylang. In the base, vanilla absolute, tree moss and musk sweeten the scent and close it with a creamy softness.

Mademoiselle Rochas In Black

7.0

Rochas · 2020

Floral · Fruity · Sweet

Rochas Mademoiselle Rochas In Black opens with black tea, bergamot and blackberry, then carries rose and black leather in its heart: a floral, fruity scent made for women. Its longevity is rated good and its sillage moderate, though both ratings rest on only a few votes. There are no season or occasion votes to go on, so those stay open; it reads feminine. Up top, the slightly bitter edge of black tea meets the fruity brightness of bergamot and blackberry. In the heart, hawthorn and rose build the floral side while black leather adds a leathery edge. The base of oakmoss, ambroxan and vanilla settles into a sweet, woody, chypre foundation, with oriental and synthetic tones running through the accords. Jean-Pierre Sand Belluna Rosaline and Giorgio Beverly Hills Giorgio (Eau de Toilette) have a close profile.

Les Folies du Parfum BX is a sweet, powdery and creamy floral oriental with a resinous, spicy edge, written for both men and women. It opens with benzoin, hawthorn and violet, where resinous warmth sits beside a powdery floral note. In the heart, driftwood, heliotrope, ambrette and tonka bean push the scent towards a creamy, sweet side. The base of musk, sandalwood, vanilla and cedarwood adds a soft, woody foundation, and a synthetic tone runs through the accords.

Rose-Poudre de Riz (Fanny)

La Bastide des Arômes

Fresh · Floral · Sweet

La Bastide des Arômes Rose-Poudre de Riz is a fresh, powdery and creamy floral, a soft and sweet take on rose made for women. Mimosa and hawthorn open the scent with a fresh, lightly floral impression. At the heart, rose and rice powder bring a clearly powdery softness. The base of vanilla and white musk settles it into something creamy and sweet. A synthetic facet among the accords gives it a clean, smooth finish. Its profile is close to Kenzo Flower by Kenzo (Eau de Parfum) and Heeley Blanc Poudre.

Battistoni

Fresh · Floral · Green

Eau de Toilette

Battistoni Marte Arte Eau de Toilette is a fresh, woody men's fragrance that opens on the green notes of davana, hazelnut leaf and violet leaf; it has been discontinued. The top notes of davana, hazelnut leaf and violet leaf give a green, fresh start. In the heart, honeysuckle, hawthorn, elemi resin and pepper add a soft floral touch with a spicy, resinous edge. The base of musk, ambrette seed, Lebanon cedar and teakwood settles it on a woody, slightly smoky footing, while the fruity and sweet tones stay in the background. Battistoni Marte Arte (Aprés Rasage) and V Canto Arsenico have a close profile.
