Dark Shadows

6.9

Lost Tribe · 2026

Green · Fruity · Sweet

Lost Tribe Dark Shadows is a unisex scent that sets a green, fruity opening against a dark oriental, resinous and woody base. The top layer pairs rose otto, blood orange, lychee and neroli, with ambergris alongside. In the heart, osmanthus and Bulgarian rose meet powder, while fir needle and blue cypress add a cool, green woodiness. The base is led by vetiver, Papua oud, cocoa and patchouli, and tobacco, labdanum and oakmoss give the dry-down a sweet, spicy, resinous body. The perfumer is Mathew Schmuelian. Its profile is close to Roja Parfums Unspoken and Miller Harris Rose en Noir.

Millefleurs 2025

9.3

N•O•A•M · 2026

Floral · Green · Spicy

N•O•A•M Millefleurs 2025 is a floral, green and woody unisex fragrance built around Papua oud, mint and citrus zest; it has been discontinued. The scent reads as a whole rather than in stages. Papua, Malayan and Borneo oud form the woody core, while mint, herbaceous notes and aniseed add a cool, green edge. Pepper and smoky notes bring a spicy, earthy side, elemi resin and myrrh add resinous warmth, and yellow blossoms carry the floral part. It feels more herbal, resinous and floral than heavy or smoky. Its profile is close to FreeShape Akasha and Fūm Winter Crocus.

Grinch

7.7

Lost Tribe · 2025

Fruity · Sweet · Spicy

Lost Tribe Grinch is a unisex scent built around pine, nutmeg and bergamot, with a spicy, woody and resinous character; it has been discontinued. It opens with pine, nutmeg, bergamot and juniper berry, a cool, spicy green. In the heart, black tea, orris root, galbanum and Palo Santo lead it into a dry, smoky woodiness. The base is weighted towards clove, leather, red sandalwood and myrrh, while castoreum and Papua oud add a dark, animal depth. Sweet and fruity accents stay in the background and soften the sharp wood. Two perfumes with a close profile are Wolf Brothers Bear and Ensar Oud Mélange Privée.

Tigerlust: Kurotora

9.5

Ensar Oud · 2025

Ensar Oud Tigerlust: Kurotora is a unisex oud scent that sets Persian rose and Jasmine sambac beside Papua oud and cypriol. It reads as one piece rather than a sequence: the floral side comes from Persian rose, jasmine sambac and osmanthus, while the woody, resinous side is built on Papua oud, cypriol and sandalwood. Tonkin musk softens the two, coffee and tobacco add a dark, warm tone, and yuzu lets a little brightness through the weight. The note list is long, with three different ouds and several kinds of rose and jasmine in the same composition. Tigerlust: Tigerwood 1991 and Tigerlust: Kanbojia, from the same line, have a close profile.

StarDust

8.8

Faizal Privée · 2025

Floral · Green · Fruity

Faizal Privée StarDust is a unisex oriental that sets floral, green and fruity touches against a sweet, spicy and woody body; it has been discontinued. It opens with black tea and pink pepper, the tea dry and slightly green, the pepper sharpening it with spice. In the heart, tolu balm sweetens the scent, while Thai oud and blue lotus pair a woody depth with a soft floral note. The base rests on amber, Papua oud and ambergris, and the earthy and animal accords darken this warm, sweetish ground. Perfumes with a close profile include The Nose Behind Silk! Oud and Amouage Ohood.

Archipelago

8.7

Ensar Oud

Green · Spicy · Woody

Ensar Oud Archipelago is a unisex scent built around oud, with a green, spicy woodiness; it has been discontinued. The scent rests on three separate ouds: Papua oud, Malayan oud and Borneo oud. The notes have no top, heart or base split, so it reads as one whole. Woody is the dominant character, with a green freshness and a spicy warmth alongside it. Resinous and earthy accords set it on a dry, dense, natural footing. There is nothing sweet or powdery here; it is a plain, heavy picture for people who like oud. Its profile sits close to Hikayat Seri Karas (Perfume Oil) and Agar Aura Mulia.

Madurez

9.3

Lujos

Floral · Woody · Oriental

Lujos Madurez is a dense, heavy unisex fragrance built on floral, woody, oriental and resinous accords. Several roses, blue lotus, night-blooming jasmine and gardenia carry the floral side. Against them, oud from many origins, Mysore sandalwood, leather and Cuban tobacco form a woody, oriental frame. Saffron, myrrh and Somalian frankincense add a resinous warmth, while ambergris, musk and civet settle it onto an animalic, soft base, and orris root lends a powdery touch. The notes aren't split into layers, so it reads as one whole from start to finish.

The King of the Oceans

7.7

GRG

Fresh · Aquatic · Green

GRG The King of the Oceans is a unisex scent that sets a fresh, aquatic side against a woody, animal and resinous base. Longevity and sillage are both rated strong, though the number of votes is small, so the rating is best read with caution. It is unisex in character, and no clear lean towards a particular season or occasion shows. As a whole, kelp and rosemary bring freshness, while Papua oud, cedarwood, vetiver and Mysore sandalwood give it a woody depth. Patchouli and elemi resin add an earthy, resinous tone, and civet, castoreum and white ambergris lend an animal, salty warmth. Green and earthy accords round out its mossy, raw feel.

Qinan Rose

9.0

elkhaldi · 2025

Citrus · Floral · Green

Elkhaldi Qinan Rose is a woody, smoky unisex fragrance that pairs rose with oud, its floral side hardened by spice and resin. Taif rose and white rose otto form the floral core, while geranium adds a green freshness to it. Papua, Thai and Chinese oud sit alongside, giving the scent a woody, earthy and smoky depth. Ginger brings a spicy edge, and the citrus and animal accords break up the sweetness of the rose here and there. With no split into separate layers, rose and oud move together from start to finish. It has been discontinued, and the few voters who rated it scored it high.

Atlas Ghaliya

9.2

Nebiru Parfvms · 2026

Floral · Aquatic · Sweet

Nebiru Parfvms Atlas Ghaliya is a unisex scent built around Taif rose, Indian pink rose and oud from several origins; it has been discontinued. Roses and oud (Papua, Indian, Indonesian, Burmese and Sumatran) lead the scent. The floral and oriental sides rest on a woody, resinous base of black and white ambergris, myrrh and Australian sandalwood. Cambodian pepper adds a spicy touch, while night-blooming jasmine and violet carry the floral side. Sweet, creamy, smoky, leathery and earthy facets round it out. Nebiru Parfvms Widowmaker and Tauer Perfumes № 03 - Lonestar Memories have a close profile.

Iris Ghalia: Borneo Kynam

9.7

Ensar Oud · 2025

Floral · Spicy · Woody

Ensar Oud Iris Ghalia: Borneo Kynam is a unisex scent that sets a floral, woody character on a powdery, creamy base. Iris, violet, Taif rose and blue lotus draw a floral, powdery frame, while Papua oud and Bornean Kyara oud add a resinous, woody depth. Spices and carnation bring warmth to the mix, and Mysore sandalwood softens it into something creamy. Civet, castoreum and muskrat add an animalic, leathery side, kept full and warm by ambergris and Siberian deer musk. Peach and blackcurrant round off the harder edges with a touch of fruity sweetness.
