Eau de Toilette
Jean Couturier Coriandre Eau de Toilette is a fresh, green chypre for women, opening with coriander and aldehydes and settling into a floral, woody scent.
It starts bright, citrusy and lightly spicy, with coriander, aldehydes, orange blossom and angelica. The heart turns floral, with lily, rose, jasmine and iris. The base brings vetiver, sandalwood, patchouli and oakmoss, giving it a dry, earthy chypre foundation.
Longevity and sillage are moderate. Most voters pick spring and summer, with fall close behind. It leans towards daily wear, the office and leisure time. Voters mostly find it feminine, though a quarter also read it as masculine. Balmain Balmain de Balmain (Eau de Toilette) and Courrèges Courrèges in Blue (1983) have a close profile.
