Saint Petal

Borntostandout · 2026

Floral · Animal · Leathery

Borntostandout Saint Petal is a floral-leathery unisex scent in which orange blossom, jasmine sambac and violet leaf meet leather, oud and incense. It opens with cumin, bergamot and dust beside the orange blossom; in the heart, incense, coffee and jasmine sambac set the floral side on a darker footing. The base is led by vetiver, leather, cistus and oud, drying down with an animalic warmth. Voters rate both longevity and sillage as very strong, though the number of votes is small. It reads as unisex, and its leathery, woody build makes it a scent that gets noticed in a crowd. Chaugan Les Princes du Polo and Ensar Oud Ward Sultan Attar have a close profile.

Potion Power

6.5

Police · 2021

Fresh · Citrus · Floral

Police Potion Power is a fresh, citrusy fragrance for men that moves into a floral and sweet body. It opens with bergamot, lavender and orange blossom, while cinnamon and aromatic notes add a light touch of spice to that fresh start. In the heart, jasmine, violet and Cripps Pink apple bring a floral, fruity softness, with amber and the solar note adding warmth. The base of tonka bean, vanilla orchid and white musk turns sweeter and powdery, and precious woods give it a woody backbone. The overall impression balances aquatic freshness with sweetness. Otto Kern Signature Man and Montblanc Individuel have a close profile.

The Hedonist Signature Musc

8.3

Ex Nihilo · 2022

Fresh · Citrus · Synthetic

Ex Nihilo The Hedonist Signature Musc is a unisex scent that pairs a fresh, citrusy start with a spicy, woody body; it has been discontinued. The top notes are bergamot and ginger, one bright and clean, the other sharp and spicy. In the heart, cedarwood and Akigalawood® give it a dry, woody backbone. The base brings Haitian vetiver, tonka bean and musk: the vetiver adds an earthy firmness, while the tonka and musk soften it. A synthetic, clean air runs through the accords and gives the scent a modern feel. Ex Nihilo The Hedonist (Eau de Parfum) and Parfums de Marly Castley have a close profile.

Perfume Oil

Ojar Flower Beast (Perfume Oil) is a unisex scent that is floral, sweet and powdery, rounded off by a creamy softness. Longevity and sillage are both rated good. Voters split almost evenly across all four seasons, with evenings and nights out leading, and daily and business wear close behind. It opens with jasmine and juniper berry. The heart builds a dense bouquet of rose, ylang-ylang, tuberose and orange blossom, and in the base vanilla, white musk and cashmere wood sweeten and soften it. A spicy, oriental edge runs underneath.
