Vanille de Agar

Ucca · 2021

Fresh · Sweet · Gourmand

Ucca Vanille de Agar pairs the sweetness of vanilla with a smoky, spicy body of oud, tobacco and clove; it is unisex and suits evenings and nights out best. Its longevity is rated strong and its sillage good. Most voters place it in evening and night-out wear, with some choosing it for leisure or the office. It reads as neither masculine nor feminine, sitting comfortably on anyone. A creamy, gourmand vanilla leads, softened by a sweet, rounded texture. Tobacco, clove and oud add a spicy, smoky, resinous depth, while sandalwood lays a woody base and a fresh accord lightens the weight. Guerlain Tobacco Honey and Volaré Honey Tobacco have a close profile.

Batavia Oud (2023)

7.8

Ucca · 2023

Spicy · Woody · Animal

Ucca Batavia Oud is a spicy, woody and smoky unisex scent, deepened by leathery and animalic tones; it has been discontinued. Its longevity is rated strong and its sillage good. Most voters rate the longevity high, while opinions on projection are more mixed. The number of votes is small, so these ratings are only a rough guide. It sits comfortably on both men and women, and it is dense and heavy in character. Ceylonese cinnamon brings a spicy warmth, while leather and Himalayan cedar lay down a dry, earthy base. Sumatran and Borneo oud join Indonesian sandalwood to add a creamy, powdery, resinous depth. The notes don't separate into stages; the scent moves as one woody cloud from start to finish.

Byzantinian Garden

7.6

Ucca · 2024

Floral · Green · Sweet

Ucca Byzantinian Garden is a unisex floral built around white rose and jasmine, powdery and creamy like a garden in full bloom. White rose, Turkish rose, jasmine sambac, gardenia and mimosa form the floral core, while neroli and bergamot add a bright lift. Sandalwood, oud and Siberian deer musk lay a warm, slightly animalic and resinous base underneath. Sweet and green touches soften the flowers without weighing them down. Longevity is good and sillage moderate, so it stays close to the skin yet remains noticeable. Most voters choose it for leisure, with night out and evening close behind, and it is restrained enough for the office too. Francesca Bianchi Angel's Dust and L'Erbolario Gelsomino Indiano have a close profile.

Juwita Malam

7.1

Ucca · 2023

Floral · Green · Spicy

Ucca Juwita Malam is a unisex scent that sets a floral, green core against animalic, leathery and resinous tones. Hay absolute, jasmine and tuberose run side by side through the whole scent, while Gallic rose and beeswax absolute add a creamy softness. Castoreum absolute, tobacco and Borneo oud pull that floral side towards something spicy, woody and earthy. Longevity is rated strong and sillage good, and most voters score the staying power high, though the sample is small, so these figures are tentative. It reads neither masculine nor feminine, and suits those who like dense, green and animalic florals. Ensar Oud Irian Green and Ensar Oud Borneo 2000 have a close profile.

Madjenoen

7.4

Ucca · 2023

Fresh · Citrus · Floral

Ucca Madjenoen is a unisex fragrance that opens fresh with citrus and green notes, then moves into a floral, animalic and resinous woody depth; it has been discontinued. Voters rate its longevity as strong and its sillage as good. The dense, heavy build suits evenings better than daytime. It carries no clear gender lean and sits comfortably on both men and women. It opens with yuzu, Sicilian lemon, mandarin orange and Bulgarian lavender, while Taif rose and Borneo oud add a darker shade beneath the freshness. The heart builds a creamy floral garden from frangipani, jasmine, tuberose and champaca, with deer musk and civet adding animalic warmth. In the base, labdanum, oud, oak wood and vetiver take over, settling into a resinous, earthy and leathery finish.

Garut Leatheroud

7.2

Ucca · 2022

Sweet · Gourmand · Spicy

Ucca Garut Leatheroud is a unisex scent that lays spice, smoke and leather over a sweet, gourmand frame. The notes read as one whole: cinnamon and coriander give a spicy warmth, while cocoa absolute, vanilla resinoid and tonka bean pull it towards a creamy sweetness. Cambodian oud, tobacco and cedarwood add a smoky, leathery depth, and amber and benzoin round out the resinous base. Voters find its longevity strong and its sillage good. With its dense, sweet, woody build, it feels more at home in cooler weather. It suits men and women alike. It has been discontinued.

Universal Fougere

7.8

Ucca · 2024

Fresh · Citrus · Floral

Ucca Universal Fougere is a unisex fragrance that sets a fresh, citrusy fougère character against a woody, resinous and smoky depth. Bergamot, Sicilian lemon and yuzu give the scent its bright, clean side, while lavender builds the fougère frame. Ylang-ylang, magnolia and Tunisian neroli add a soft floral layer, with green and spicy tones alongside. Underneath, Cambodian and Borneo oud, Indonesian sandalwood, labdanum and French oakmoss lay an earthy, smoky, resinous base. Because the notes are not split into separate stages, the perfume reads as one continuous whole: freshness and dark woodiness are present together. Its profile is close to Angela Flanders Bleu de Chine and Calaj Black Beard.

Perfect Movie Date

6.2

Ucca · 2024

Sweet · Gourmand · Spicy

Ucca Perfect Movie Date is a sweet, creamy gourmand unisex scent that suits quiet, close evenings, much like the night out its name suggests. Vanilla leads here: vanilla resinoid and Bourbon vanilla carry the sweetness. Butter, cocoa, hazelnut and bitter almond give it a rounded, creamy, dessert-like feel. Indian oud and Indian sandalwood set a woody, resinous base underneath, while tonka bean softens the spicy side. Voters find its longevity strong and its sillage good, though the vote count is small, so these ratings are only a rough guide. With its warm, sweet build it feels most at home in cooler weather and at close range. It reads as unisex, neither distinctly masculine nor feminine. Hilde Soliani Profumi Buon Pranzo and The Maker Dream have a close profile.
