Xyrena Dark Ride is an unusual unisex scent built from ozonic notes, chlorinated water, a mist note, fire and mildew.
The notes read as one whole: ozonic and chlorinated water give an aquatic coolness, the mist note turns it hazy, while fire and mildew add a smoky, damp and slightly harsh shadow. Sweet, spicy, woody and leathery accords sit alongside, and the synthetic character stays clearly present.
Longevity and sillage are rated as good, though only a few people have voted, so that picture is tentative. It suits those who want to step away from familiar clean and fresh fragrances, and it doesn't lean masculine or feminine. Rammstein Kokain and Ataraxia Spinal Fluid have a close profile.
