Hope (2009)

One Seed · 2009

Citrus · Floral · Green

One Seed Hope pairs bergamot and lemon with a soft heart of vanilla and lavender, making a citrusy, woody women's perfume that has been discontinued. It opens with bright, slightly green citrus from bergamot and lemon. In the heart, vanilla, lavender and cedar turn that freshness creamy and powdery. The base of Australian sandalwood, abelmoschus and oakmoss lays down a woody, resinous floor. Longevity and sillage are rated moderate. Most voters pick fall, with spring and summer close behind. Leisure and evening lead the occasions, though office and daily wear also fit. Though marketed to women, voters split almost evenly between calling it masculine and feminine.

Dreamer

6.2

One Seed · 2017

Citrus · Floral · Green

One Seed Dreamer is a unisex scent that sets mandarin orange, pink pepper and orange blossom against the sweetness of cotton candy, leaning citrus and floral; it has been discontinued. The scent reads as a single whole: mandarin orange and fruits give a bright citrus lift, while cotton candy and burnt fig add a gourmand sweetness. Mimosa and orange blossom carry the floral side, and pink pepper, ginger and clary sage temper the sugar with spicy and green touches. The accords also include a creamy, synthetic edge. Longevity and sillage are both moderate, though the small number of votes makes this a tentative picture. It is made for men and women alike, and suits anyone who likes sweet, fruity fragrances. Its profile is close to Kyse Perfumes Glace à la Fleur d'Oranger and Ard Al Zaafaran Albaz.

Freedom

6.5

One Seed · 2009

Fresh · Citrus · Floral

Longevity is good and sillage moderate. Voters pick it most for leisure and everyday wear, with business and evening close behind. It reads as a feminine scent. The top of rosewood, palmarosa and pink grapefruit opens fresh and citrusy. In the heart, black pepper adds a light spice while rose, gardenia and magnolia form the floral body. The base of vanilla, abelmoschus and sandalwood leaves a sweet, powdery, creamy and woody warmth. Stéphanie de Bruijn L'Île aux Cygnes and Chanel Allure (Eau de Parfum) have a close profile.

Bohemia

6.6

One Seed · 2013

Citrus · Floral · Fruity

One Seed Bohemia pairs blood orange and pink grapefruit with apricot, jasmine and rose in a sweet, gourmand unisex scent; it has been discontinued. Its longevity and sillage are moderate. Voters pick it most often for evenings, then for leisure and daily wear, and less often for the office. It opens with bright citrus, then apricot, jasmine and rose give a soft, fruity floral heart. In the base, vanilla, cocoa and tonka bean leave a creamy sweetness, while amber and black tea add a faintly spicy, smoky, earthy edge.

Seeker

6.3

One Seed · 2015

Green · Sweet · Gourmand

One Seed Seeker is a gourmand unisex fragrance with a green streak: coconut and vanilla sweetness is set against oakmoss and coriander in a creamy, spicy scent. It has been discontinued. Longevity is rated good and sillage moderate, though the small number of votes makes these figures only a rough guide. No clear season or occasion stands out. Coconut, coconut aldehyde and vanilla build a creamy, sweet base. Roasted basmati rice adds a warm, grainy note to it. Coriander and ambrette seed draw a fine spicy line, while oakmoss brings out the green, earthy side. The oriental and resinous accords keep the overall feel soft and warm.

Devotion

7.0

One Seed · 2009

Citrus · Floral · Fruity

One Seed Devotion is a sweet, spicy women's fragrance in which blood orange, rose and vanilla come through together; it has been discontinued. Longevity and sillage are both rated moderate. Voters pick evening most often, followed by leisure and nights out, which places the scent closer to after-dark wear. Daily and business use get a smaller share. It opens on cardamom, black pepper and blood orange, a citrusy spice. In the heart, rose, iris, geranium and ylang-ylang give it a floral, powdery character. In the base, vanilla, cocoa and amber soften it into a gourmand, resinous warmth, with earthy and smoky shades staying in the background.

Symphony

7.2

One Seed · 2016

Floral · Green · Fruity
