Thé Matcha

Solinotes · 2023

Fresh · Citrus · Floral

Solinotes Thé Matcha is a fresh, green and slightly powdery unisex scent built around cardamom, bergamot and matcha. Most voters place it in daily wear and the office, with leisure use next; few pick it for evenings. Longevity and sillage are rated moderate, so it stays close rather than filling a room. It opens with cardamom, bergamot and citron, a spicy brightness. In the heart, cashmere wood, rose and matcha give a green, floral softness, and the base of musk, white amber and sandalwood settles into a warm, powdery finish. Maître Parfumeur et Gantier Camélia Chinois and Tauer Perfumes Nexin have a close profile.

Eau de Parfum

Solinotes Pomelo Eau de Parfum is a fresh, fruity unisex scent led by grapefruit and blood orange. The top holds citrus fruits, grapefruit and blood orange; in the heart, jasmine, cedarwood and melon soften that brightness. Vetiver, musk and iris form the base. The accords are fresh, citrus and sweet, with a slightly synthetic feel. Longevity is rated moderate and sillage weak, though the number of votes is small, so these ratings are tentative. It suits those who want a light scent that stays close to the skin. Miraj Fujer and Cacharel Amor Amor L'Eau have a close profile.
