Oud Rain Tropical Storm

Renier Perfumes · 2023

Fruity · Sweet · Spicy

Renier Perfumes Oud Rain Tropical Storm is a unisex scent that sets fruity sweetness against a spicy, woody oud base. Longevity and sillage are both rated good by those who voted, though the vote count is small, so the rating is only a rough guide. It is unisex and wears equally well on women and men. It opens with cypress, red mandarin orange, pineapple and mango, which give a sweet, fruity start. In the heart, Cambodian oud, nutmeg, sandalwood and saffron add a spicy, creamy warmth. The base of cedarwood, tobacco and oud leaves a woody, oriental trail. Renier Perfumes Oud Rain and Givenchy Gentlemen Only Absolute have a close profile.

Nuevalos

5.7

nBitor

Floral · Aquatic · Green

nBitor Nuevalos is a unisex scent that pairs a floral, aquatic surface with a sweet, resinous and woody base. Voters rate its longevity as very strong and its sillage as strong, so it is a perfume that carries across a room and stays on skin for a long time. There are no season or occasion votes, so it is better not to guess where it fits. It opens with bergamot, honey, jasmine and ozone, and moves into cocoa, sandalwood, oud and salt at the heart. The base holds musk, opoponax, benzoin, oakmoss and labdanum. Green, spicy, creamy and animal touches run through the sweet, gourmand core.

Ottoman Leather

7.3

Renier Perfumes · 2021

Fresh · Floral · Green

Renier Perfumes Ottoman Leather is a unisex fragrance that opens fresh and fruity, then moves into a leathery, smoky and animalic character. The opening of honey, neroli, bergamot, red fruits and pear gives a sweet brightness. In the heart, vetiver, sandalwood, leather, champaca absolute and cashmeran build a woody, earthy base, with the leather coming forward. The base of black musk, black amber, castoreum, patchouli, benzoin and tobacco carries it into a creamy, powdery, spicy and oriental warmth. Sweetness and animalic depth balance each other. Its profile is close to Agent Provocateur Pétale Noir and Montale Bengal Oud.

Paloma

6.6

Renier Perfumes · 2024

Fresh · Citrus · Floral

Renier Perfumes Paloma is a fresh, aquatic unisex scent led by citrus and green notes, softened by a sweet, creamy backdrop. It opens with grapefruit, bergamot, lemon and neroli for a bright citrus lift, while green apple and cucumber add a green, juicy edge. In the heart, sandalwood and lily of the valley bring a soft floral side; the base of musk, vanilla and salt settles it onto a sweet but clean footing. Longevity is rated good and sillage moderate, so it neither disappears on the skin nor fills a room. It suits men and women alike. Perfumes with a close profile include M. Micallef Ô Féminin and Nishane Colognisé.
