Eau de Parfum

Ryoko Scent 06 Eau de Parfum is a green, woody unisex scent that opens on coriander and Austrian hay and settles into oakmoss and Indian sandalwood. The opening is a dry, spicy greenness from coriander and Austrian hay. In the heart, Virginia cedar and clary sage build a woody frame. The base of oakmoss and Indian sandalwood grounds it in something earthy, creamy and faintly smoky, with a resinous edge. Longevity is rated moderate and sillage weak, so it stays close to the skin and wears quietly. The number of votes is small, so these ratings are only a rough guide. Chronotope Virginia Tobacco Barn and Atkinsons The Big Bad Cedar have a close profile.

Eau de Parfum

Ryoko Scent 02 Eau de Parfum is a woody, smoky unisex fragrance built around mushrooms, patchouli, Assam oud and frankincense. Its longevity and sillage are both moderate, though the small number of ratings means these figures are only a rough guide. The resinous, smoky character suggests cooler weather, but there are no season or occasion votes to confirm it. It is unisex and doesn't lean masculine or feminine. Mushrooms and sage give it a green, earthy, fresh edge. Patchouli and red cedar set a woody base, while Assam oud and frankincense add smoky, resinous depth. Benzoin softens that dryness a little, and the spicy, oriental touches stay in the background.

Eau de Parfum

Ryoko Scent 11 Eau de Parfum is a fresh, green, woody unisex scent built around marjoram, Fujian cypress and Indian sandalwood. Its longevity and sillage are both rated as moderate: it neither projects loudly nor disappears quickly. As a unisex fragrance, it is not tied to either gender. Hyssop and Japanese camphor give it a fresh, citrusy and lightly spicy edge. Orris root softens that, while sandalwood and cypress provide a resinous, woody base, so the overall impression stays green and airy.

The top opens with cardamom, rosemary, sage and clove, giving a spicy, herbal start. In the heart, Scots pine and Virginia cedar build a woody, green base, while tobacco adds a smoky warmth. The base of myrrh and spikenard leaves a resinous, slightly sweet depth, with the floral accord staying in the background. Overall it feels dry and serious, like open air and forest.

Ryoko

Fresh · Citrus · Green

Ryoko Scent 12 is a unisex fragrance that balances a fresh, green feel with spice and resinous wood. Its longevity is rated moderate, though the small number of votes means that judgement is tentative. With no gender lean, it sits comfortably on men and women alike. It opens with black pepper, pimento and basil, then moves in the heart to neroli, Virginia cedar and juniper berry for a citrusy, green look. In the base, Indian sandalwood, copaiba balsam and spikenard close it with a woody, resinous warmth. Acqua di Parma Cedro di Taormina and Campos de Ibiza Cedro have a close profile.

Ryoko

Fresh · Citrus · Floral

Ryoko Scent 03 is a fresh, woody unisex fragrance where citrus meets green, with a floral and lightly spicy side. It opens with lime, bergamot and tarragon, bright, crisp and green. In the heart, osmanthus and ylang-ylang add a floral, fruity and creamy softness. The base of vetiver, Siberian fir needle, tonka bean and false sandalwood settles the scent on a woody footing, with the tonka keeping the sweetness light. The result is neither heavy nor showy, moving steadily between freshness and creamy woodiness. Its profile is close to Le Labo Limette 37 and Ormonde Jayne Gatsby 22.
