It opens with cumin, saffron and ginger, with mandarin orange and absinth lightening the spice a little. In the heart, frankincense resin, rose and cistus add a resinous, earthy tone, while tonka bean, liquorice and sandalwood sweeten it and settle into a smoky, woody base.
