The top notes of lavender, absinth, pink pepper and bay leaf give an herbal, crisp opening. In the heart, cinnamon, rose, jasmine and cardamom let the spice sit against the florals. The base of patchouli, amber, frankincense, musk and cedarwood settles into a woody, resinous ground.

Longevity is rated good and sillage moderate. Most voters pick fall and spring, with winter and summer further behind. It is worn from daily use through to evenings out. Most voters read it as masculine, though a fair share find it feminine. Amouage Epic Woman and Moresque Divina Marchesa have a close profile.
