What does Calypso Violette smell like?

It opens with bergamot and lemon, then moves into violet for a floral feel. The heart holds eglantine rose, rose and heliotrope, with a green, fresh edge beside the flowers. In the base, sandalwood, honey, tonka bean and white musk sweeten it and add a woody, oriental warmth that ends powdery.

Released in 1999, it is made for women. Its longevity is rated moderate, though the sample is small, so this is only a rough impression. Ricarda M. Ruby Love and Marc Cain Mysteriously No.2 have a close profile.
