Orchidée de Minuit

Longevity is rated good and sillage moderate, so it leaves a noticeable trail without filling the room. Most voters place it in the evening or on a night out, with spring a distant second and summer well behind. It reads mostly feminine, and many also call it modern.

It opens with white orchid, rum and clove: a floral start with spice and a faint boozy warmth. Jasmine, benzoin and styrax in the heart turn it towards a resinous sweetness. Vanilla absolute, patchouli and musk settle the dry-down into a creamy, woody base.
