What does Libertatis smell like?

The top opens with birch, cardamom and pink pepper, so spice and smoke come forward at once. In the heart, Taif rose, Persian rose and Turkish rose sit alongside saffron and tobacco, while propolis and frangipani soften the rose. The base is dominated by leather, castoreum, Chinese oud and Laotian oud, with Bourbon vanilla and Honduran amber sweetening the dark, resinous texture.

Voters rate its longevity very strong and its sillage strong, though the number of votes is small, so these ratings are tentative. With its dense, earthy, leathery build it can read as masculine or feminine. Zoologist Hyrax and Maison Mona di Orio Les Nombres d'Or - Cuir have a close profile.
