What does Bois d'Iris smell like?

The top notes bring frankincense, bergamot, pine, artemisia and nutmeg, so it opens spicy and resinous. In the heart, iris adds a soft powdery quality while patchouli and sandalwood lay a woody base. The base of vetiver, tobacco leaf, musk, vanilla and amber leaves a sweet, smoky warmth.

Longevity and sillage are both moderate, though the number of votes is small, so these ratings are only a rough guide. It sits comfortably on both men and women, balanced between floral and woody. Oriflame Amber Elixir Night and Amouage Lyric Woman (Eau de Parfum) have a close profile.
