What does Hana Matsuri / 花まつり smell like?

It opens with magnolia, jasmine, yuzu and Japanese tangerine, a bright mix of citrus and flowers. In the heart, cherry blossom, Sakhalin fir, sanshō pepper and violet leaf pull it towards green and spice. Vetiver, patchouli, oud and oakmoss then settle into a woody, earthy base.

Longevity is good and sillage moderate. Most voters pick spring and fall, and it leans towards leisure, nights out and daily wear. More voters read it as masculine than feminine, though a fair share call it feminine. Cacharel pour L'Homme (Eau de Toilette) and Montale Vetiver Patchouli have a close profile.
