What does 4 L'Empereur smell like?

It opens with bergamot, lemon and iris, where the bright citrus meets the soft, slightly powdery character of the iris. In the heart, cedar and aquatic notes take over: the cedar gives the scent a dry, woody backbone while the aquatic notes keep it cool. The base settles on tobacco, sandalwood and musk, so the scent warms up and dries down into a fuller, smoother woody finish. Plantes & Parfums Cèdre Bleu and Tisserand Cedar Retreat have a close profile.
