Ulanbataar (Extrait de Parfum)

The top notes are cumin, lemon, lavender, bergamot and clove: an aromatic, spicy and slightly sharp opening. In the heart, geranium, iris, sage and tobacco come forward, with ambergris adding a soft base. The base is led by myrrh, frankincense, opoponax, vanilla and sandalwood; the scent dries down woody, resinous and oriental in its warmth while keeping its fougère structure. The fresh accord stays in the background throughout, and sweetness remains restrained, coming from vanilla and tonka bean.
