What does Oud Ahmad Phase VII smell like?

The notes read as one whole rather than a top, heart and base sequence. Jasmine and rose carry the floral side, while plum skin and fruits bring a sweet, fruity tone. Beneath them, Malayan oud, sandalwood, leather and resins build a woody, oriental depth, and musk and saffron soften and warm the blend. The animalic and leathery accords keep the sweetness from turning sugary and give the scent a firmer edge.

Spikenard, orris root and violet leaf add a faintly powdery, earthy shade. Guerlain Santal Royal and Swiss Arabian Shaghaf Oud Aswad have a close profile.
