What does Private Blend: Currantfunk smell like?
The notes read as one whole rather than in stages: blackcurrant and sour cherry shape the fruity side, while Persian rose, jasmine and blue lotus carry the floral one. Vietnamese oud, frankincense and amber lay a woody, resinous and smoky depth underneath. Civet and castoreum add the animalic edge, and the sweet, gourmand accords soften it.
Longevity is rated very strong and sillage strong, though the vote counts are small, so treat that as a hint rather than a verdict. Its dense, characterful build suits cooler weather and evenings better. It has been discontinued. For a similar profile, look at Ensar Oud Private Blend: Jazzfunk and Serge Lutens Louve.
