What does Otello smell like?
It opens with cardamom, mandarin orange and chili, a bright start with a slight bite. The heart turns richer with roasted hazelnut, cocoa and driftwood, and the base settles into honey and vanilla sweetness over an earthy, smoky patchouli. The overall impression is warm, oriental and edible.
Longevity and sillage are both rated good, though only a few people have voted. Its warm, dense build suits cooler weather best. It reads neither masculine nor feminine. Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille and Serge Lutens Bornéo 1834 have a close profile.
