It opens with black pepper and frankincense for a spicy, resinous start, then moves into orris absolute, cistus absolute and leather at the heart. The base of vetiver, tree moss and patchouli gives it an earthy, woody footing. Floral and animal touches don't soften the harder edges completely, but they are noticeable.
