The notes read as a whole rather than in stages: a resinous, earthy base with powdery Florentine orris absolute over it. Cep and shiitake absolutes add a mushroomy depth, while benzoin keeps the sweetness soft. Citrus, green and floral accords lighten it, so it doesn't settle into a heavy woody-spicy mood.
