The top notes of bergamot, mandarin orange and pink pepper open bright with a slight bite. The heart is led by Bulgarian, Egyptian and Turkish roses, framed by geranium, cardamom and nutmeg, which add a spicy, faintly green edge. In the base, saffron, sesame, rum and vanilla sweeten the scent and lend it an oriental warmth. Rose stays in front, but the sweet and spicy supporting notes pull it away from a classic floral and toward the gourmand.
