What does Alpha smell like?

In Alpha, sandalwood, cedar, leather and oud build a woody frame, while birch tar and frankincense pull it towards smoke and resin. Saffron adds a spicy warmth and patchouli an earthy edge. Civet, castoreum and musk bring out the animalic side, and Peru balsam and ambergris soften the harder edges.
