What does Blood Orange smell like?
It opens bright with Italian blood orange, red mandarin, bergamot and lemon, while bitter orange adds a slight sharpness. Ylang-ylang and cedar sit among the top notes too. In the heart, champaca, Gallic rose and jasmine sambac bring a soft floral layer, and benzoin and vanilla absolute then carry it into a resinous, gently sweet, woody base. Fruity and spicy touches stay in the background, with an earthy edge rounding out the structure.
Hermès Eau des Merveilles (Eau de Toilette) and Tom Ford Rive d'Ambre have a close profile.
