Patchoulight

A spicy black pepper opening gives way to a heart of orris concrete, violet leaf absolute and rose, which reads powdery and green. The base of musk, benzoin and Indonesian patchouli sweetens it and settles it onto an earthy, woody ground. Fruity and synthetic touches stay in the background.

Longevity is rated good and sillage moderate. Voters lean towards autumn and spring, and towards leisure and evening wear. Most call it feminine, though a fair share see it as masculine. Cacharel Eden and Tocca Violette have a close profile.
